| The seeds made into handmade paper are really cute. They can be planted after the wedding by your guest. Without knowing the wedding theme its hard to say. |

| This is what we are doing. we are doing a candy bar. thats where you have different candies in a jar, and have baggies so they can take candy home....cheap and a fun cute idea. then my center pieces i think im gonna let them take also! those are gonna be a glass jar, filled up bout 3/4 full with sand, and has sea shells inside then on the outside there is gonna be a sand-dollar wrapped around with twine! good luck to you. |

| Keep them edible. Dust collecting junk like teeny picture frames will get left behind. If your guests are nice they toss them after they get home, either way you will have wasted your money. You don't mention a thing about what part of summer and your location. Candy buffets are a fine idea indoors but if you had an outdoor wedding it would all be melted before the end of the night. |

| how about a cd full of beachy music.then you can do custom labels on the front.''music inspired by our summer of love"and then your names and wedding date.they sell a program where you can print your pix on labels and everything.its like 30 bux.at least it will get used.put on some cute love songs like god only knows by the bboys,surfer girl,under the boardwalk...etc.you could even stick them in a little sand pail with ribbons on it and throw in an inflatable beach ball and some shells and beach toys(instant beach party ...just add water) .or the little pails could be stenciled with names and tables...for seating.definitely do a sand castle cake.there are some cute ones ive seen...keep it fun,ive been to a million weddings and nobody really does anything with the favors.i also know that oriental trading sells hawaian shirts etc at bulk,you could go that route and it would be funny cute |

| get candy molds that are flip flops and make them the color that is the accent color in your wedding! wrap them and put a cute saying on it or just the date and your names. best of luck |

| how about bright colored lollipops? 1 per person.or dipped pretzel rods (dip in choc then nuts, sprinkles etc)i'd make sure it's nothing toooo melt-able since summer tends to be the "oh i forgot it in my car and now it's goo" time of yearand like the other poster said... keep it edible, most dust collectors are tossed or forgotten about. |
