My boyfriend and I are going to get tattoos on our wedding fingers right after we get married. We are going to have real rings as well but with both of us being mechanics, we can't wear our rings at work, so we fingured this would be a good choice. The thing is, we can't figure out what we want tattooed there. Does anyone have any suggestions on what we could get? And do you know how much they would cost? Thanks for your time and help.

Usually a small ring band tatoo costs between $60-$100.I would suggest a flower pattern for a woman and chinese symbols meaning eternal love for a man.

you know how ppl get those bracelet things around their biceps? or how little kids get temporary bracelet and anklet tattoos? once when i was little i had a temporary ring tattoo. that might be cool to have where your ring would go. but make it a design not looking like a ring unless you have a really good artist!or your names and the date of your anniversary? a heart even maybe...

a celtic design may look interesting and provide a timeless unisex look for you both. you could get your partner's favourite color and vice versa, or your partner's favourite design and vice versa (in keeping with a similar 'look'). also, depending on the width and style of your bands, you could always choose colors or designs which would accentuate or create contrast between your skin and your rings. smaller tattoos usually don't turn out so well at first/over the years, so i would advise against getting a tattoo which would be covered entirely by your bands--instead, i suggest you play it up and go for a larger design, which would extend beyond your respective bands--just under an inch on either side. the cost depends on the size, color and complexity of the design as well as the shop in which you get tattooed. i suggest you look around for a reputable, clean tattoo shop, and i strongly advise against simply 'settling' for an artist. i recommed you visit several shops (you can do this online, if you prefer) and take a look at various artist portfolios before you make a final decision. that way, you can insure you'll get tattooed by a professional who knows what he's doing. if you prefer to visit the shops in person, don't be afraid to ask if any artists there specialize in the particular style you're looking for. hope this helps!
