Am very new to photography and has just began searching for a camera that's good for taking sceneries, from sun rise to sun sets and even night skies like shooting stars?I know i might sound noobish but really, how do i guage a camera as to taking sceneries? Appreciate it if anyone could recommend specific models or tell me where i can start searching and learning about cameras for sceneriesAlso, what kind of camera can what get with a SGD $400 budget? Frankly, i really don't know if this budget can get me a camera that's suitable for sceneries? But do let me know what budget is Needed to get a suitable camera too

Canon SD800 IS or SD870 IS. You usually need a wide angle lens for sceneries. These two cameras have a 28-105mm image stabilized zoom lens.
