| maybe for directions and accomodations. I spent a lot of time creating a very detailed website and i listed the address on the bottom of my save the date magnets that i sent out to every guest on my list. i can tell by my photo album settings how many people have logged in and viewed my photos. only 7 people out of 100 magnets! either they viewed the site and never clicked on the photos or they didn't get it that the website on the bottom of the magnet is MY website. maybe they think it's a random website of the company that made the magnets (which i actually made myself). i really really want everyone to visit my website. i have no way of knowing what happened. i recently added a few lines on the website saying please sign my guest book so i know you were here, and check out our photo album. what to do?naturally my gift registries are on the website. this is why i'm thinking it may be poor etiquette to include it. |

| Whenever I get a website with an invitation, it is always on a separate card, business card-sized. Put it in loose with the invitation. Add "Directions, accomodations, and more" and maybe more people will have a look. |

| I agree with the above post(fizzy) now that she said it. I have a website myself with details and things that are more about us and the wedding but didn't know where to put it but I realized I wanted to add it to the invitation so people will know. |

| Send out this information in a separate mailing than the invitation. And don't be hesitant to duplicate information from the website in your mailing -- many people can't or don't go online. Think of your website as an alternate way for people to get the information, not as the primary source, or you may be disappointed when people don't use it as much as you expected. I think Emily Post would agree that the invitation should only include the details about the wedding and RSVP, possibly brief directions to the reception if you wish. In my opinion, it's worth the extra stamp to send out all those other wordy other details in a different envelope on what could be several pieces of paper! |

| Either a seperate card included with the invitation, or and email to everyone whose email address you have. Don't know what the makeup of your guest list is, but its likely that your older relatives will not visit your website. That might be why you're not getting much traffic. |

| We added a separate card for the wedding website. It has all of the details we couldn't fit into the invitations. The website also includes registry information. The difference about including a website vs enclosing a registry card from bed bath and beyond in invite is that people have to make an effort to go to the website and view your registry, it's not big and purple right in their face as soon as the open the invitation, so it doesn't seem as though you are all about the gifts.We actually made a small note on the card that went something like this..."If interested, please see the wedding website for more details, such as hotel and transportation information, the wedding menu, things to do in the area, registry information, pictures and more." It's fine. |
