I'm thinking of buying the Casio Exilim EX S880 digital camera. I've been reading reviews on it for a while now, and can't seem to decide if it's going to be the camera for me. What I'm looking for is a slim camera with a big viewing screen and with a fast point-shoot while still giving a good picture. So far, this camera met my requirements, however, I was wondering if anyone out there who has one could give me an overview of what they dont like about the camera, and possibly what they do like, just to give me an idea and what a regular person thinks. For anyone who doesn't know which camera I'm looking at, here's a link:: http://exilim.casio.com/browse_cameras/exilim_card/EX-S880/I also have one more question. The YouTube Capture sticker, button type thing on the front of the camera: I was wondering if that was actually a sticker that you can peel off once you buy it?If you can't tell, I havent held, or seen this camera in person.

The reviews I read about the Casio say that the pictures are soft (fuzzy) and that it's merely acceptable, but nothing to write home about. The Canon SD850 IS is a similar camera, that's rated much higher than the Casio. Here's a link that compares the two: http://reviews.cnet.com/4504-4_7-0.html?id=32510297&id=32441340&tag=boxcocoThe Canon, while slightly more expensive (about $40), has optical image stabilization that makes it easy to get good pictures, especially in low light. The Casio has a slightly larger LCD, (2.8 in vs. 2.5 in), and has slightly higher resolution (8.1 mp vs. 8.0 mp) Both differences are so small as to be nonexistent.

Its a nice camera! I just got it (S880) last night for my brother for Christmas. Quick, easy point and shoot. The UTube thing looks as if it may come off, but since it is a gift I do not want to try and remove it at this time.I & my Dad have the Z1050 and love the thing and would not traded it, even through its a bit thicker then the others, it takes GREAT pics espicially night shots. My boyfriend has had the S600 for almost 3yrs and loves it mostly because it takes great shots & it fits in his shirt pocket, but would like to trade up for the S880, he likes the idea of the Utube function & its the same size.No matter which one you buy, I think you will be a Very happy person. If your in to Utube and want to to take the easy videos, Id go with the S880 if not any one will do fine they are all Great Cameras. We now own 4 in the family, it has to say something :)Good Luck with your purchase, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
