http://www.njwedding.com/articles/faq_tippingguide.cfmI've never gotten tiped as a photographer before and i've done well over 20.So do I HAVE to tip those people like that? Or would I be a horrible person? The DJs, ceremony music dude, judge and his wife, and photographer (maybe other provides) will be eating with us, if they want.I just am spending so much that I didn't know about this tipping thing until i read it on yahoo answersWe aren't having a driver as his parents own a really nice sports car so we are going to use that, maybe I should tip him :Pbut of course the judge will get his fee, and everyone will be getting paid on time....and ahead of time...of course.

No you do not have to tip them. Your photographer, DJ will maybe want to eat so you should add them to have a plate of food though

people that are being paid directly for their services - such as the dj or photographer don't necessarily need to be tipped unless they really do something above and beyond the call of duty. If your reception hall had someone to coordinate things for the day, you may want to tip them, especially if they do a good job. Hairdressers and make-up artists should be tipped as if you were having normal services - maybe a little higher if they have a tough task such as a complicated hair-do.

Some vendors (like bartenders, valet attendants, djs, and make-up and hair stylists) you should tip. Others (like photographers and florists) are optional. Here is an awesome website for tips on frugal tipping:http://www.frugalbride.com/tipping.htmlHope this helps!

The short answer is no.Tips are only given when someone has provided exceptional service. There isn't the obligation to give someone extra money for just doing their job. The decision is yours to decide.
