I quit smoking nearly 5 years ago. Today I have spent the entire day working on our invitations (DIY) and bridal party bouquets (also DIY, using silks).Right now I am making our wedding ceremony arch out of copper pipe. I don't know if it is the rare day off work or the non-stop wedding/craft projects, but I really wanna smoke!!!Anyone else ever feel this way? Smile

i cant relate considering ive never smoked but id say just stick it out and not smoke and you'll get through all the wedding planning and be grateful that you didnt give in cause then you'd be back into the addiction, good luck and try to stay smokefree.

you've changed your daily tasks, this always shakes up any addictions we have.breaking addictions is all about replacing habits with new habits. such as sticking to a smoke free routine.now that you have broken your smoke-free habit, and you're doing so much with your hands, you will naturally feel like having a smoke.knowing that you aren't a smoker will help in avoiding. "i want a smoke, but i'm not a smoker.. so instead i'll go for a walk around the block and clear my head before finishing this task".

Well I have never been a smoker and I have gotten myself into a lot of DIY projects for my wedding, figured I'd save some money. And yeah, I want a cigarette.
