Am I suppose to get a gift for my ring bearer? I bought a gold childs necklace for my 4 year old flower girl - but then I started thinking I should get something for my ring bearer also, correct? Now the problem is he is 16 months old and will be escorted by my 10 year old brother - so I am guessing I need to get them both something - but what?? Ideas would be appreciated!!Best of Luck to BTB - 17 days until my big day!!!

How about toys or books? Something the boys will actually like. Also, consider getting something that will keep them entertained during the reception.

Yes, you should get both your little boys something. For your brother, why not a game or some fun toy, for the baby, I'd get a stuffed toy.Little girls will keep what you give them, little boys could care less, so get them something they can play with.My sisters got both their ring bearers watches - which one little boy promptly lost at the reception, and the other little boy broke his with in 2 weeks.Congratulations and good luck!

I would recommened getting something for the both of them if you got something for the flower girl. However, it can be something that isn't expensive. a nice chain is great for your brother, as for the 16 month old, a chain is nice, but won't be worn till he's older. You can always just buy him a toy or book. It doesn't have to be fancy, it's just a thank you.

Something age appropriate is gift enough. They will appreciate a toy now more than anything. When I was a flower girl in my aunt's wedding 20 yrs ago, I got a Barbie and my brother got a remote control car. So a few years ago when I got married, I gave my cousins (age 7 at the time) a Barbie and Legos. It gave them something to do while all the adults were running around busy with wedding stuff.

Bah! You don't need to get them anything. I'm sure your parents and the ring bearer's parents are just thrilled that you'll have them in the wedding. You're about to have a load of expenses after you tie the knot, you're just trying to add another unnecessary one to your pile.
