| Is it by the hour, the frame? I'm only a senior in high school. I started out doing just the senior pics for two of my friends because senior pics in our area cost around 500-600 dollars and VERY few people can afford that. I'm a decent photographer, I use a canon rebel xti and I have photoshop cs3, corel x2, picasa, kodak easyshare, and gimp and I'm pretty good with all of them. I know enough about cameras and the software to do a decent job but I don't have the equipment for an idoor studio [[no lamps or backgrounds...all I have is the pop-up flash that came with the camera, no other external ones.]] so after my other classmates so the work I did on my friends they also wanted me to do their's because they know it won't be costing them $500. I already have 15 other people who have scheduled with me and a couple the same age as me wanting their wedding portraits done by me...I just don't know how to charge them...I'm not printing them because I don't have a decent printer so...our local printing store will do it and I'll just give them the cd...I want the cost to definately be cheap but I don't know how I would charge them...by the hour or frame or what??? [[all outside and some out of town...like 40 miles away...HELP!]]like $40 for an hour??? or $50....the place where they print is like$3 - 8 wallets$2 - 4x6$3 - 5x7$6 - 8x10$14 - 11x14i think thats how much...its $5 - 8 walletsor should I add like $10 or $15 extra for pics in the town 40 miles away???and don't think i'm rich because i have that stuff...I waitressed to pay for my car and the camera and corel x2...i got cs3 from my teacher |

| i started doing senior portraits before i was a senior so i can relate. i usually charged 50 dollars an hour plus costs of prints [which you look like you figured out] and if you take time to photoshop you can add that in to the price. you'll make decent money and they'll be saving a ton. have fun!if you have aim, message me 'omg buddha' |

Where and How to Start?
There’s so much to do, it can be mind-numbing. Don’t worry. I planned and held my first wedding in two months and my second wedding in three months. If you have the luxury of a year or more, feel lucky!
Wedding Invitation
Ideally, invitations should be mailed out 6-8 weeks before the big day to give guests time to make arrangements to attend and RSVP back to you.
Wedding Attire
Where I come from, buying a tuxedo is virtually unheard of. Renting is probably the way to go to realize the ultimate savings on the groom’s attire.
Wedding Flowers
Cheap doesn't mean that your wedding flowers can't be beautiful. All flowers are lovely no matter what they cost.
Wedding Ceremony Decoration
Most wedding ceremonies are short and sweet, so why spend a majority...
Wedding Music
Music for your wedding ceremony could consist of live or recorded performances.
Wedding Photography
Pictures are priceless, and you want to be sure you have plenty of good pictures of your special day.
Wedding Favors
Some brides don’t like the idea of giving gifts to her guests, but we think it’s a nice gesture as a thank you...
Wedding Food
Wedding food can take a huge chunk out of your wedding budget.
Wedding Cake
Your wedding cake is the centerpiece of the reception. It is a scrumptious dessert as well as part of a tradition
Wedding Party
The question of whether or not to serve alcohol at your wedding is one that can cause dissension in the ranks of family.
