I remember at one wedding I attended, the wedding photographer threatened to leave the reception before finishing taking the photos because he didn't like the way so many of the guests were standing around him taking their own photos. His attitude was that if people wanted photos, they could buy them from him.
It really made things rather stressful and unpleasant, but was it justified for him to do that? Most of the guests at a wedding aren't going to pay for professional photos, and a lot of them may not even have an opportunity to see the proofs anyway. It just seemed mean-spirited to me. |
