We both want the same things, marriage/kids and a long happy life. But I feel like I am getting well been given a few hints that he might propose....1. We want to be together forever2. His dad has had the chat with me, ie that he loves and wants to be with me for a very long time, asking me questions around that subject. We have talked about the future, and we both want to have kids and get married etc etc.We are going on holiday together (his sister's wedding) and I was invited in december. Help/Advice peeps! |

| Usually a mature couple dates a year and a half to two years, to ensure they are ready and suited.Sorry, but shacking up isn't the best road towards marriage. There are lots of questions here on Answers about women shacking up who are so frustrated because the man won't marry them.Best to keep your independence, and let your relationship stay as dating seriously.Good luck. |

| Half a year as in 6 months... that seems very soon for a proposal. There are no signs to see. When he comes to you and asked you to marry him and spend your life with him...that is the proposal. If you keep reading into the HINTS you think are there you could be disappointed if he doesn't propose. |

| I don't understand why you feel the need to know ahead of time whether or not he is getting ready to propose. You seem to have already listed the "hints" you've noticed...so what are you looking for?One of the dead giveaways would be if he's asked your ring size, but honestly, if you think you're ready...why not ask him? |

Where and How to Start?
There’s so much to do, it can be mind-numbing. Don’t worry. I planned and held my first wedding in two months and my second wedding in three months. If you have the luxury of a year or more, feel lucky!
Wedding Invitation
Ideally, invitations should be mailed out 6-8 weeks before the big day to give guests time to make arrangements to attend and RSVP back to you.
Wedding Attire
Where I come from, buying a tuxedo is virtually unheard of. Renting is probably the way to go to realize the ultimate savings on the groom’s attire.
Wedding Flowers
Cheap doesn't mean that your wedding flowers can't be beautiful. All flowers are lovely no matter what they cost.
Wedding Ceremony Decoration
Most wedding ceremonies are short and sweet, so why spend a majority...
Wedding Music
Music for your wedding ceremony could consist of live or recorded performances.
Wedding Photography
Pictures are priceless, and you want to be sure you have plenty of good pictures of your special day.
Wedding Favors
Some brides don’t like the idea of giving gifts to her guests, but we think it’s a nice gesture as a thank you...
Wedding Food
Wedding food can take a huge chunk out of your wedding budget.
Wedding Cake
Your wedding cake is the centerpiece of the reception. It is a scrumptious dessert as well as part of a tradition
Wedding Party
The question of whether or not to serve alcohol at your wedding is one that can cause dissension in the ranks of family.
