| I have no formal training, everything is self-taught. I have a portfolio and a rough business plan. My photography is largely outdoor portraits of individuals and families, but I also work with botanical macro-photography. |

| You have already started the best way. Your portfolio is what will attract people to you. My suggestion would be to build a website that targets your local area. You could build unique content in your website that will stand out from the others in your area. You can also post samples from your portfolio on your website to attract business. If you would like, I can share my experience with the web host that I use. They assist in building sites around your type of business. I hope this has helped spark some ideas.BEST WISHES! |

| Please listen.....lol. I recently began building my own website. I came across a company that is fabulous, inexpensive and have a wonderful product. Your profession as a photographer is made for the internet. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They allow you to build your own website and give you so many benefits, it is really hard to believe. Trust me, and check this out. I will send you to the website where I learned about it.
