| I have a Canon S5 IS, and for the most part, it doesn't disappoint. It can get a touch noisy at 1600 ISO, but seems pretty darn good at 800 and lower. There's a small amount of barrel distortion at 12x zoom, but it's not typically noticeable in regular photos. The lens cap pops off pretty easily, and I don't like that you have to open the battery compartment to take out the memory card. All minor things. Beyond that, I have nothing but good things to say about this camera. It takes great shots, is very user friendly, has loads of options, and even a hot-shoe. |

| The Canon is a good camera, and I considered buying it but after trying the Fuji S9600, I went with the Fuji. In my opinion, the Fuji's image sensor is slightly better compared to the Canon, and was happier with the feel and results. Both similar and both capable of taking excellent pictures.Whatever your choice, enjoy and have fun... |
