| I am the mother of the groom.... and my son is marrying a horrible wench who only wants to drain his bank account when he goes to Iraq this winter. He is a nieve 21 year old boy who doesnt see her as a lazy B*tch just yet. I have to choose a song that him and I will dance to at their JOKE of a wedding. I want it to be special because I love my son, but i want to piss off the bride at the same time. She feels that he doesnt need his family because her family is enough. She even is controlling his bachelor party.... So if anyone has any song ideas or any other ideas as to what I can do to piss her off please let me know. Thanks... |

| Just don't do it. If she is truly as bad as you say, your son will grow up eventually and realize how bad she is. But in the time being you don't want your son to turn on you because of her influence. It is your sons decision...its hard, but try and stay away from it and dont upset this woman anymore then needed...it could truly backfire. |

| I was in the same situation as you with my son - also military - whose then-girlfriend told me the first time she met that she "knew she would always get her a military man" - because of other issues that arose over the wedding, I chose not to attend - I feel a LITTLE guilty about it, but felt it was best for all if I did not go. Yes, they're married, she's still lazy, he's still serving and what can you do, he will NEVER know how I truly feel about her - because I refuse to let her come between us. So, if you go, be a stand up Mom and pick something nice for you and your son to dance to, you'll regret doing otherwise. |

| Embrace your new daughter in law. Don't you love your boy? You stand more to lose than gain if you behave that way on his important day. If you do something like that, you will alienate him. Then IF you are right about the young woman ,when that falls apart your son will feel like he has nobody. OR if they remain together ,don't you want to see your grandbabies??Be the mature woman you are. SMILE! |

Do it for the sake of your son, be happy for him - this is HIS life not yours - let go and cut the chord. Honestly you dont know what its like to have a crazy mother in law, wel neiter do I but my grandmother (my fathers mother) Despises my mom, like openly - somehow my immidate family came to the point where we cut my whole dads side of the family out of our lives, Be the bigger person be happy for your son. If this dosent convice you to then just imagine them having kids - Kids aren't stupid by the way - they'll be able to see that you dont like thier mother. |

| I think you need to cool off. Your son is an adult and if this woman truly isn't right for him he has to learn form his own mistakes. Not by mommy's intervention. His wedding is not the time to mess around. You said he is leaving for Iraq - what if you alienate him by how you treat her and god forbid, something happen, how could you live with yourself. I hate to say that but come on..I think you should rethink your whole "idea". |
