if you can suggest me a better one i may choose that.. basically im a photographer i have SLR cameras both digi n film one but confused to pick up a basic digi cam. I use this for outdoor only for decent photography but should give very good results...Mail me on kiran0906@yahoo.com.thanks,kiran.n

US 12,000? This is a lot of money!If you already have a DSLR, I would buy a point and shoot from the same brand. For example, if you have a Canon DSLR, I would buy a Canon G9. You can use the flash from your DSLR on G9 too.

It might be very helpful if you just read the answer here instead of asking us to send you an email. Also, please let us know what country you're in - or at least... what 12k you're talking about? Dinar? Rupee? Dollar? Basic digicam... I myself have a Canon A570 IS. Pretty cheap (~$170), it takes OK picture (great quality for a pocket camera), and most of all I like the Av and Tv mode - usually only found on SLR camera (only a handful of pocket have this mode, and I'm grateful that this one have it for such a bargain price).

no one can compete sony cameras whether it is kodak,canon,nikon,olympus or any company.I'll give u some models.plz choose onein all of them.W55,W80,T200 these all are sony phones.If u dont like thse cameras then go for kodak .Its models are M853,C713.All these models which I have mention are very good & all r below Rs12000.
