Is this wedding dress too slutty? My fiancée was looking through styles of wedding dresses, and this was one of the ones she considered. She decided against it because she feels she doesnt have a flat enough stomach for it, I think she should have decided against it because it looks CHEAP! Is it just me?http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250210633039&ssPageName=MERC_VI_RCRX_Pr12_PcY_BIN_Stores_IT&refitem=250210947124&itemcount=12&refwidgetloc=active_view_item&usedrule1=CrossSell_LogicX&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widgetAnna, I didn't say she would be buying anything off of ebay. I said she was looking at styles of wedding dresses.

I don't think it looks slutty or cheap, but I do think it doesn't look like a traditional wedding dress, but then again, I don't know what type of wedding you two are having.Congratulations!!

If you think so, she should respect that!! Her body is for you and you only!! Vice versa! After you get married that is!

my personal opinion..it looks a little iffy for a wedding dress. Moms and Grandmas and even a few Aunts might take offense. Smile

It's very immodest for a wedding dress, very cheap looking, I don't think your wedding day is a time to show off as much flesh as possible!

Just be glade that she has chosen to go with something else. It is slutty, cheap, ugly, see throw and just horrible.

I'm not too keen on it. It's not my style.

I dont think this is an appropriate wedding dress...Looks like something to play in for role play not something you would see at a wedding...Maybe if the wedding was on the beach it could work...Leaves nothing to the imagination....Sorry just being honest...

I agree with you, it does look a little "cheap" and "slutty". It will be much better for the guests to remember how beautiful your bride looked...not how sexy.

I agree with you 100%!!!In my experience with dress shopping these past few months, I seem to have come across this style of dress a million times and was always shocked by it! Why would anyone want to wear a dress like this on the day that they are pledging themselves (including their bodies!) to one person? One of my bridesmaids has a brother who recently got married, and his fiance had a dress custom made for her that looked very similar to this dress. All I have heard about the dress is how it did not do anything for her, and detracted from her beauty.Tell your fiance that she is way too gorgeous to wear a dress like this!

I'm not a prude by any means but I don't think it's entirely appropriate for a wedding even though I do think it's pretty. Older guests will definitely be offended by it. She could always have a similar dress custom made with a not so sheer fabric for the top but with lace detailing if she wants and have a corset for the bodice which would suck everything in and give the appearance of a flat stomach.

I don't think it looks cheap, but good Lord... you better have a bangin' body to look good in that thing. You need the perfect body for that to look sophisticated... from the boobs, to the stomach... to the neck and shoulders. Yikes. What a gamble. 95% of women wouldn't look good in that thing.

First of all, that is the exact dress I am most likely buying. I think it completely depends on how you carry yourself in general. If it walks like a skank, and talks like a skank, then . . . you get my point? On the right person, at the right wedding, that dress is gorgeous and WAY classier than a lot of those cheesy Cinderella ball gowns I've seen with all that blown out taffeta and tulle. My Mom thought it was a bit much and didn't really like the bare stomach idea either (and she is NOT conservative) so I'm not sure how it would be received. I'm very thin and still worried about not having the "perfect" abs for it. Anyway, if she really loves it, she can be strict with her diet for a few weeks and rock that dress! As for it looking cheap, you mean cheap as in skanky, right? Not cheap as in cheap. Because it is actually a really nice dress from their couture line. Nothing you would find at the nearby bridal store off the rack. Also, I forgot to mention that I would NOT absolutely NOT buy that dress from ebay. It will be a knockoff for sure! Retail is around $2,000 but you may be able to get it for about $1,500.And again ALSO I forgot to mention that the dress pictured is by Divina Sposa but show your girlfriend the following link as an alternative. It's much less (about $600) and more modest, but also has the same type of line. I love it.http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?line=d&pageSize=8&style=JD8104

The dress is couture it's from a Parisian website, non? Seriously though, it's a beautiful gown, one would need the "10" body to pull it off, even then, your fiance would need to feel comfortable in it and be able to move freely. Depending on where the ceremony is held, it might be too "riske" to wear if she had chosen it. As for you, whatever your betrothed ends up wearing she'll look beautiful no matter what, after all it's not about the clothes, it's about the love and life you two will share together.
