| We are incorporating Jamaica into our reception because it has a very special place in our hearts and because of that are adding personal touches to our wedding. I already know what I'm doing for the favors ( making a box out of wood and putting sand in the box, tying their place cards to sand dollars and sticking them in the sand) but I wanted to do a little something else. Initially I was going to buy sugar cane (i found a really great site that sells caseloads and it's very inexpensive sugarcaneswizzlesticks.com) and I was going to take a few sticks per person, wrap in celluphane, tie with a ribbon and place at each persons table setting. Unfortunately I'd be taking a risk b/c the lady told me that sugarcane may not last that long like that and it might dry up like sticks..... PLEASE help me come up with another cute/inexpensive/island inspired possibly edible favor to have at each person's place setting. THANK YOU!!! |
