My wedding is April 13th in North Carolina. Wedding colors are Burgundy, Kelly Green, and Royal Purple. The ceremony will be outdoors under a huge tree which has a large circle of woodchips around it. I thought of draping tulle or something over the tree branches but how do you fasten it so it won't blow away? How do I decorate with various weather conditions in mind? I don't want to be worrying about decorations blowing away the whole time. (We do have a small chapel reserved in case of rain, but we really want to try to do it outdoors). Ideas???The reception is in a banquet hall. There will be six food tables along one walls, chairs along another wall. The walls are mostly canvas-like because they are moveable. What would stick to them and not leave a mark when we take it down? We also have windowsills we could decorate. I am not a very crafty person -- I've been to Michaels but it just sort of overwhelms me with possibilities and I have no idea what to do. Ideas??

I made flower balls. My wedding is also outside and the reception as well. All you need is small styrofoam balls, small flowers in your colors hot glue gun and if you want little accents or something. Cut all the flowers off the stem to where there is just enough room to push a small amount of stem in the ball then pull the flower out put some hot glue on the tip of flower and insert into the pre-made hole. * Before you begin with the flowers take satin ribbon and wrap around the ball, glue down then do flowers* They are a nice dcoration and can be used in any weather condition. If you need more detailed directions you can email me at ijustwantmyfreeemail@yahoo.com. They are so pretty when finished and that are super easy to make.

You could also hang Chinese lanterns in your wedding colors, that would be really pretty :)Draping tulle would be pretty too, maybe to keep it on the tree you could wrap some pretty wire around the tulle and the branch? You may be able to drape tulle at the reception too, and if the walls are going to stay bare I would suggest uplighting in colors that compliment your wedding, you can rent par can lights for doing this, in my area they rent for $10.Hopefully this helps!

Where and How to Start?
There’s so much to do, it can be mind-numbing. Don’t worry. I planned and held my first wedding in two months and my second wedding in three months. If you have the luxury of a year or more, feel lucky!
Wedding Invitation
Ideally, invitations should be mailed out 6-8 weeks before the big day to give guests time to make arrangements to attend and RSVP back to you.
Wedding Attire
Where I come from, buying a tuxedo is virtually unheard of. Renting is probably the way to go to realize the ultimate savings on the groom’s attire.
Wedding Flowers
Cheap doesn't mean that your wedding flowers can't be beautiful. All flowers are lovely no matter what they cost.
Wedding Ceremony Decoration
Most wedding ceremonies are short and sweet, so why spend a majority...
Wedding Music
Music for your wedding ceremony could consist of live or recorded performances.
Wedding Photography
Pictures are priceless, and you want to be sure you have plenty of good pictures of your special day.
Wedding Favors
Some brides don’t like the idea of giving gifts to her guests, but we think it’s a nice gesture as a thank you...
Wedding Food
Wedding food can take a huge chunk out of your wedding budget.
Wedding Cake
Your wedding cake is the centerpiece of the reception. It is a scrumptious dessert as well as part of a tradition
Wedding Party
The question of whether or not to serve alcohol at your wedding is one that can cause dissension in the ranks of family.
