Get one of those giant black golf umbrellas. A picture of your and your husband kissing in the rain under one of these umbrellas would be amazing, especially as a black and white. If the shutter speed is slow enough, it will look like the raindrops are stopping around you.

It poured all day the day I got married. We did our pictures at the bed and breakfast where we spent our wedding night. You really don't want to stand outside in the rain or wet with a white gown on. Is there anywhere near you where you could do cool indoor pictures? Call your photographer, they deal with this stuff all the time and should have some good advice for you. Hopefully the weather will clear up in time for next weekend. Good luck.

This happened to me. the day i got married there was a monsoon. roads were closed we had to actually push the whole thing back an hour. I just had to deal with it. no matter how much i wanted the whole outdoor thing. i knew it wasn't going to happen. you have to prepare yourself for it and try your best to be okay with it. For me it actually turned out to be great because i got to spend more time at the reception rather than having to take all the pictures, and as many people will tell you it goes by soo fast.

Is there a gazebo? Or some big trees? As long as it's not pouring, you can still have pictures done outside. It actually works better to take pictures with overcast weather vs. sunny.....no squinting or anything. Your photographer will have ideas depending on your venue. Good luck!!!!

As the days approached to my wedding it became clear it was going to POUR all day and night. I woke to rain...it rained all day...it rained all night. In fact it rained for 8 days straight afterwards when we were on our honeymoon. Rain didnt ruin anything. The day was FUN. It felt like night time even though it was in the day. I wanted outside pics but never got them...nothing you can do about it. Just enjoy the whole thing. I loved being surrounded by everyone I loved and we had a blast with all of them. It was memorable.

Where and How to Start?
There’s so much to do, it can be mind-numbing. Don’t worry. I planned and held my first wedding in two months and my second wedding in three months. If you have the luxury of a year or more, feel lucky!
Wedding Invitation
Ideally, invitations should be mailed out 6-8 weeks before the big day to give guests time to make arrangements to attend and RSVP back to you.
Wedding Attire
Where I come from, buying a tuxedo is virtually unheard of. Renting is probably the way to go to realize the ultimate savings on the groom’s attire.
Wedding Flowers
Cheap doesn't mean that your wedding flowers can't be beautiful. All flowers are lovely no matter what they cost.
Wedding Ceremony Decoration
Most wedding ceremonies are short and sweet, so why spend a majority...
Wedding Music
Music for your wedding ceremony could consist of live or recorded performances.
Wedding Photography
Pictures are priceless, and you want to be sure you have plenty of good pictures of your special day.
Wedding Favors
Some brides don’t like the idea of giving gifts to her guests, but we think it’s a nice gesture as a thank you...
Wedding Food
Wedding food can take a huge chunk out of your wedding budget.
Wedding Cake
Your wedding cake is the centerpiece of the reception. It is a scrumptious dessert as well as part of a tradition
Wedding Party
The question of whether or not to serve alcohol at your wedding is one that can cause dissension in the ranks of family.
