| We are getting married in about 9 months from today and haven't really found the best colour for our wedding. Generally it's a contemporary wedding so it has to be 'hip'. Does anyone know any colours that looked great. Include photos if you have any. |

| Pale colours are usually chosen, like purple or pink or beige. But if you want something more modern you could try something brighter like green or orange. |

| blue (light) and silver with whitesage and silvergrey and silverI think all these would look nice.Or silver and gold. |

| I went with red and white roses for my wedding. My husband and I didn't want a big expensive wedding so I made everything and picked everything out. It is amazing what you can find for cheap at craft stores and dollar stores. All the center pieces were red and white roses, the favors I made were red and white roses in a champagne glass(they were really pretty). My husband chose to wear a very dressy suit instead of a tux because he had more color options. He wore a red shirt underneath a white suit, with a white handkerchief. It all looked very classy and since we had white and red roses all around, we decided that the red represented him and the white represented me. |

| I was recently at a wedding done in royal blue and yellow. The bridesmaides wore royal blue gowns with yellow rose bouquets and the guys wore black suits with yellow and blue ties. Very tasteful. However this is your wedding - what colors do you like? |

| Don't do too many colors.Also keep in mind that there are so many shades in each color. If you plan on having the colors integrated in the brides maids dresses, see what colors your chosen wedding store has to offer. That will narrow it down a lot right there. I also think it looks great when you have a "Black and White" wedding. When you do this you have everyone who comes to the reception in black and white. It is pretty common and it looks great. I love the colors green, purple, and orange. - (Not all together) Don't go with any color that is two light because you don't want your wedding to look like an Easter party. Go with one strong color and mix it with white and black to tone it down. Good Luck!!Oh you can also go to davids bridal.com and create your own wedding party. You click on "dress my wedding" This way you can play with mixing colors and adding bows, vest, ties, ect... to your wedding party. |

| I would go with baby blue, yellow, light green. Something colorful. I've been to weddings that had the bridesmaids where a different color. I looked really nice. |

| Pink is my favorite color, but always reminds me of a little girl, so we had a black and ivory wedding.If you E-mail me, I will E-mail you back a picture of my wedding party so you can see how it looked. |
