| However, Fiji would still have warm water to swim in even if its raining. Though its true that March and April are the wettest months in general. Hawaii rains some in March but its near the end of the rainy season, you should consider it. You could also consider the Caribbean, or Aruba, something medium-priced is possible - especially as I think the Caribbean has leveled off or gone down a little in price since more Americans are going farther away since you have to get a passport to visit the Caribbean now. |

| A couple of suggestions.... Samoa is lovely and not touristy, you can rent a 'fale' (a hut) on the white sands overlooking their beautiful beaches for about AUS$30 a night including meals! It's a basic island though, so don't expect luxery, but it's very beautiful. Virgin flies there very cheap. Another idea might be Vietnam, a place in the north called Ha Long Bay, you can stay on a boat sailing around, it's so beautiful and very, very cheap, esspecially if you book and pay for it when you get there because they really jack up the prices big time if you were to buy it from somewhere in Oz. I paid US$25 at my hotel in Hanoi and that included collection from the hotel, driven to Ha Long Bay, a private room on the boat (staying overnight) and breakfast, lunch and dinner! What about a driving trip around NZ, it's pretty, friendly, safe, and easy to get around. Lots of romantic spots there too, esspecially up in the Bay of Islands (North of Auckland on the north island) They are always advertising airfare specials to NZ too. Hope you have a lovely time whatever you decide to do! |
