This is our 5th wedding anniversary. Would it look cheap to send her 5 roses in a mixed bouquet or should I just go for the dozen roses? I'm sending to her at work tomorrow? I wanted 5 roses for the five years we've been married.

maybe send a dozen of red roses, then 5 pink ones throughout the mix. it would be a lot and not look cheap, but would make sure it signified something to her. whatever you do, you'll make her smile and think of you. happy anniversary! |

Go for the dozen. it would be a bit cheep to send her just the 5.If you can swing it, get her some nice earrings or a necklace, but give those to her in person. And God forbid that you forget to get her a card. Get her a card too. Maybe go to a candy store to get her 5 pieces of chocolate, that way you can work in the number 5.

Do like a bouquet of red roses and then like five different color roses.. You get bonus points for remembering the years you have been together and also for the lovely roses and how beautiful they look. Just make sure you have the year right because then it would be kind of hard to explain why you have five different color roses.

Coming from a florist's daughter who thinks a dozen roses is a bit overrated, I would go for the 5 roses in a mixed bouquet. Have them write on the card something like, one rose for each year of our wonderful life together....hope that someday it's 50 roses. To me it's more meaningful this way. I don't think it looks cheap at all - I think it's memorable and the words on the card will be sweet.
