| I just got back from seeing a friend tonight at a wedding, after having not seen each other in 4 years. We were never close b/c we had 1 class in design college together - but always got along very well and he respected my work a great deal (even tho I was an upperclassmen). Well, tonight we happened to be at the same table and we spent a great deal talking the night away. A good portion was talking about post-school job crud, but during our convo.. he would put his arm on my chair, touch my arm/back, filled my glass and even touched my leg. At the end of the night, he asked for a business card - I didn't have any - so he gave me his and said, "Give me a call and we'll hang out."But.. I've been burned in the past - by another fellow who was a chronic flirt (and who I seriously think now is gay). It turned up to be total drama and hurt a lot.. so I don't want to relive that. Has anyone else been through this - do you know if these are gay signals? So I don't waste my time. thnx!He acts.. sort of gay. I know, bad answer.. he's definitely borderline.. makes hand gestures, and has certain expressions. But usually most gay guys I know within minutes b/c they make some reference towards males.. and he didn't make any passes or take much interest in the men at our table. Being in L.A., there are a LOT of metro sexuals.. so it's kinda hard. |

| Does the guy "act" gay? You forgot to mention that part. If he acts effeminate while doing all the stuff you described, I'd hazard a guess that he probably is gay or bi. A lot of gay guys flirt with women but they don't mean anything sexual to it. |

| Sounds legit to me. Call him and find out. I don't think a gay man would've put his arm around your chair or touched your leg but I could be wrong. |

| A gay guy friend is just like a girlfriend, so sometimes they will pat your bottom put their hands on your lap and somtimes even give you a peck on the lips (friendly) and be very playfull... they are fisical and open with their girl-friends. Just observe his behavior. |

| he's not gay. That is very rare to have a cronic flirt be that interested and turn out gay. Take a risk again. But this time try to move things a little quicker than last time. Pressure him into a situation that will prove whether or not he's gay. More than likely he is not and you will like the result. Good luck. |
