| Research, research, research. Start by reading up on the necessary supplies required in order to decorate a wedding. You will need to purchase these items. Then, you should interview recently married couples and ask them what they liked/disliked about their decorator. Find out what sets a good decorator apart from a poor one. Next meet with wedding planners in the area to build a relationship with them, and ask them the same questions you asked the couples. Remember, you will also be trying to convince the wedding planner to recommend you to future brides. After all of this, you may want to look into creating a legal company, instead of just doing this work personally. This will save you from being sued personally by a Bridezilla. Only your company will be able to get sued. Of course you should consult a lawyer for more details of this aspect. |

| The best way is to get your feet wet. Do that by volunteering at your family and friends who are getting married or see if a local wedding business will allow you to be an intern.Don't be disappointed if the local business don't respond because if they know you are getting into the same business as them, they might feel threatened.Good luck |

| take a classin coordinating .. put together a portfolio of your great ideas ... help as many family members and friends as you can to plan and decorate their weddings and get the word out ... step out on faith and be ready to be dissapointed some times but also prepare yourself for your success ... I myself got the id in my head you know that i wanted to coordinate and design weddings.. so i took a coorespondence course , bought items and did quite a few arrangments for practice took pictures of the ones that came out really well and made a myspace page for my business ... Tha's all i have hope it helps you good luck !!!!! |
