i am planning a wedding in august 2008. me and my fiance have been looking into catering halls and reception halls. even though catering places normally include everything from food decorations, i would rather have a reception hall where i could have exactly what i want and the look i want. the price is not an issue because after you pay catering, cake, linens, chair covers the cost is almost as much as the catering hall.yesterday i went to this hall and the look from outside was not that appealing but when i got to the hall i was shocked. the place was beautiful with mirrors all around chandaliers everywhere just truly beautiful. I would love to take this place just to get the people shock. i want them to get to the place and think what was she thinking? and then go inside and truly be amazed at the place when they see it.has anybody been to a place like this where they were shocked.

Actually yes that happened to me. The place was gross looking, but it was kind of plan looking. Once we got inside it was perfect. It had a huge dance floor, beautiful bar, and large kitchen and dining area. It was what I always pictured for my wedding.

Yes, a friend of mine was married in one of those places. It had a Log Cabin look on the outside and it looked very worn and dumpy---when we got inside though it was breath-taking! Definitely worth it for the shock factor!

yes, this place called the event factor was part of a strip mall in the front, but inside it was so huge you could get lost with all of the rooms and decorations. I wonder why these places don't do more curb appeal.
