I didn't know if a black cocktail dress was ok or if it was too dressy. I guess because the wedding is at 5pm, it will be ok to wear a black dress. I want to look good as this is my first "big" social event since my divorce.  |

| a nice dress that is comfortable, weddings tend to be lengthy depending on her religion my church hold a service so they are upwards of an hour, Catholic wedding OMG we won't even go there |

| the same thing that you would wear on a Sat or on any other day...a wedding is a wedding it doesn't matter which day it is on!!! |

| Probably the same as the proper attire for a wedding on Saturday at 4:00 pm or on Monday at 2:45 pm. |
