Check with local party planning companies for rental prices on arches. They should have a variety to choose from so you can have one that goes with the style and/or theme of your wedding. The building & grounds look so beautiful, I doubt you'll need a whole lot of decorations. I would just have the arch, and some flowers thrown in here and there.***EDIT***If you can't find a rental company, your florist should be able to provide options for you.

Companies that rent wedding needs will have all kinds of arches and such that you can then have "dresssed for the occasion". These are temporary and can be used outdoors or in.

My best friends sister went to Michaels and bought an arch from the store than we just looked around in Magazines and on the internet for pictures to find what floral designs we liked. We bought a bunch of fake flowers, floral wire, cutters, and sheer cloth in her colors and made our own arch. It turned out beautifully. I havn't been able to find any good websites with pics but if I run across one I will let you know. :0)Here is one for you a lot of examples. http://images.google.com/images?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4DMUS_enUS205US206&q=wedding+arches&um=1&sa=N&tab=wi

Beautiful! It depends on what is available in your area. I've seen a metal gazabo that would probably be lovely in this setting. I put "outdoor wedding arch" on Yahoo images search, and found several pretty ideas. I'm sure the museum office that rents the property might have some photos from previous weddings. It's worth asking. Or possibly see if they know of any florists that have decorated for a wedding there. If so, that florist might have some ideas. But an arch might distract from the beautiful building. What about a group of columns instead. These can be rented as well. Or make an "arch" from the columns like on the bottom of this page. http://www.protegeevents.com/documents/access.html

That is beautiful! You could find a lot of pre made arches and pergalas or gazebo fixtures. Google them. Also look under chuppah. Chuppahs are quite ornate and beautiful or very simple, used in Jewish ceremonies. I would make it so it remains true to the building. Something with wrought iron with a wroght iron cap atop would look great with a blooming climing plant on either side of the base. At the top could have sheer fabric hanging down each post/leg, bishop sleeved at the mid point. In the center put petals on the walkway to define the space where your nuptuials will be.http://www.floralfanfare.comLook midway down the page for the cinderella semi circle, or the dome top. It has some beautiful ideas if you are looking to decorate one and don't know what to do.http://www.partypop.com put in for rentals in SC, I know that there are a few in Charleston ect. Don't know how close you are to there but the places I have found on partypop even rent shubery ect. Good Luck! Smile
