If so, was it from the drinks or food? And where did they do the deed?

I threw up at a wedding once. Luckily I made it to the toilet. I blame the oysters. And too much to drink.

I went to this wedding a year ago and when we came to the reception hall the next day to clean up, there was vomit all over the men's bathroom. YUCK. I'm thinking it's from the drinks... open bar all night might not be a great idea as some people will over-indulge! |

I threw up at my sister's wedding. I was 19, the MOH, and it was due to the booze. And not eating because I was too busy drinking. I'm ashamed to admit that I threw up ON THE TABLE. I'm hanging my head in shame here. . .

Yeah, my Auntie made an absolute trogdor of herself at her sons wedding. He married a well to do girl and her family were so posh. Auntie got drunk, made some really unappropriate speeches and then threw up everywhere in the beautiful powder room. It was atrocious. My nephews wedding, one of his cousins got drunk and insulted as many people as he could. Then when being excorted off the premises, threw up on the Japanese garden. Nice.Which is why I am not a big fan of "Open bars" at weddings. I am all for having open bar for champagne and wine and beer, and unlimited softdrinks, punch etc. But spirits should not be included in open bars, they should be cash only.

I have seen the Mother of the Bride pass out in the bathroom, I have seen guests start fights with other guests and I have witnessed people drinking too much and getting sick. Good times, but really embarrassing to the Bride & Groom. Weddings are too expensive for people to act like teenagers and ruin the evening one of the biggest days in their lives.

A girl at my friend's wedding threw up repeatedly and passed out in the toilet stall in the bathroom. We were all a little worried about her, but she made it home okay.

Yes. One of my *bridesmaids*! I can't blame her though...her boyfriend had just broken up with her by leaving her stuff outside the house...during University finals week. She came home from a calculus exam to find her stuff in a pile of snow. And then she had to attend a wedding (mine) two days later. So I don't blame her one bit!An open bar + a bad break up...what's a girl to do?!She puked 3 (!) times that night, but at least it was in the bathroom. No one noticed.Big deal.

I've not seen that.I have seen fights, inappropriate behavior, heavy-set people dancing on tables and the tables collapsing under the weight - - all due to drinking.I was a guest who witnessed (to be polite) gastrointestinal distress at a wedding from a majority of other guests - that was due to the food. Lucky for me, I'm a fussy eater and wouldn't touch the food so I was fine and didn't have to endure waiting for the restroom lines.

Well...truth be told....My MOH and I got so tanked at my wedding that we both ended up throwing up that night. Luckily I threw up in the hotel room we were staying at...but she had to have the bridesmaid who was driving her and the other BM's home pull over on a curb in the middle of the city so she could puke all over the place. I guess she just fell on the floor board and hung her head out the car. LMAO.Champaigne is a terrible ter-rible thing to drink too much of. We have pics of us and the other guests drinking straight of the bottle at the end of the night. It was the worst hang over I've ever had. Good thing my husband has a super good sense of humor!

I was at a wedding recently where one girl was TRASHED. Her boyfriend got her to the womens bathroom door and we took over from there and got her into a stall to do the deed.On the way home from this same wedding, my husband had his head hanging out the window the entire way home. This was during a snow/sleet storm. I had told him he was cut off from the bar an hour before we left....yet I kept finding him in line at the bar afterwards. The entire passenger side of my car was covered in vomit. I was pissed.Call me cold, but I have no sympathy when someone gets sick after I've told them they need to stop drinking.

Does it count if you're the bride and it's because you're still hungover from the night before?
