blow up photos of you and your fiance and either put them in nice frames, or set them up on easels around the room. :)you can also get nice fabric in your colors to make into swags and hang that up as well.

I recommend going to a fabric store and getting some yards of fabric in whatever colors you like. Then tack it up and drape it on the walls to make different areas (like behind your cake table, behind your wedding party table, etc.), it will help break up the walls of the room without costing you a fortune.

A friend of mine got married last year, and for their walls they put strings of white christmas lights around the walls. It was very pretty, very tasteful, very elegant, and created a wonderful atmosphere.

It's amazing what a little light will do. This is something fun...and you can get the lights in any colors to match your wedding colors...http://www.lajolladjs.com/images/ambient_lighting/fallbrook_wedding_pink.JPG

I would also recommend uplighting the walls. It is very beautiful and sets the atmosphere.

As I have said so many times before, please make sure to check with the venue to make sure that they allow you to put things on the walls. Our venue is very strict about such things and made a point of telling me of a couple that "tacked" things to the wall even after being told not to, they had to pay for a contractor to come in patch and repaint the entire room!

You can rent chinese folding screens from lots of places that rent tents and tables and chair and such. I have been to weddings where they placed these around the room and it looked amazing!sort of like these: http://www.worldmarket.com/lev/1/Ntt/screen/Ntx/mode+matchallpartial/Ntk/Def/N/0/Nty/1/index.cat
