I am getting married in a few weeks and I wanted to purchase a new digital camera before the wedding. Can anyone recommend a good camera that is reasonably priced? I don't want to spend a whole lot of money, since there are a lot of other expenses right now. Any help would be great. Thank you!

Canon Power Shot cameras are down in price, and are easy to use, and takes really good quality pictures.Try to get at least 6.0 mega pixels or better, and at least 3X or better optical lens. I use a Canon Power shot A700 with 6.0 mega pixels and 6X optical zoom. I really like it.I hope to get a new Canon 8.0 mega pixel soon, which is better for printing larger photos. Digital Zoom is useless.

Angela, am I to understand you are going to use this camera for your wedding photos? How important are these photos to you. First of all, you should be hiring a pro photographer for this, but if that is something you cannot do, then I suggest you purchase a bunch of disposable film cameras for your wedding photos. You do not want to be starting out in digital on such an important occasion. Unlike what many think, it is still a photographic tool, not an electronic gizmo that you can simply put in AUTO and have great pictures. You will be far more likely to get some really good shots with the film camera which is simple and has built in matching shutter speeds, ISO speed, flash output, and aperture size. PS. I do wedding photography professionally, so I have seen more than my share of brides using new digital cameras for their wedding photos, and being SICK of the results following.Stevehttp://www.parrottimaging.com

There’s so much to do, it can be mind-numbing. Don’t worry. I planned and held my first wedding in two months and my second wedding in three months. If you have the luxury of a year or more, feel lucky!
Wedding Invitation
Ideally, invitations should be mailed out 6-8 weeks before the big day to give guests time to make arrangements to attend and RSVP back to you.
Wedding Attire
Where I come from, buying a tuxedo is virtually unheard of. Renting is probably the way to go to realize the ultimate savings on the groom’s attire.

Cheap doesn't mean that your wedding flowers can't be beautiful. All flowers are lovely no matter what they cost.
