Depending on budget how about a bouncy castle or one wedding I attended had games at it such as Play Your Cards Right, charades and bingo with prizes - I always think you need something to get people involved as not everyone is into dancing but they may like to play games.

Do a powerpoint of your relationship from when u met to your marriage or a sing along at the end of the ceremony to walk down the aisle to hand out the words inside the program. What about having a circle dance or have everyone in the wedding party dance down the aisle to a party song Let get it started in here by the Black Eye Peas . I hve lots more but just be really different when thinking about the fun you want. May The Lord Bless each day of your marriage.

I have been to weddings where they play games, but I really feel uncomfortable with that sort of thing, perhaps if there is a lawn you could set up croquet, or other lawn games like boules/bowling etc....

I think people remember most - great food, wonderful music, and a full open bar. It's being together, having fun, which is memorable, not necessarily planned activities.

I agree that planned activities may not be necessary; people want to mingle! But to have something to get people involved, you could always have some sort of "bar" or "station" like an espresso bar, smoothie bar, dessert buffet, ice cream sundae bar or the ever controversial candy buffet.. hehe.I also think it is sweet when people use pictures of their favorite places or their pets with the table numbers..Another great idea I have seen is when the bride and groom place baskets in the restrooms that have all sorts of things that guests might need or have forgotten such as hairspray, nail files, tylenol, mints or gum, bandaids, personal products, lotion, ect..Good luck! I'm sure it will be fabulous |

Hi. Don't try to be unique or different. What a guest wants is:~ good food~ drinks~ dancing~ mingling with other guests~ chatting with the bride and groomYou don't need any planned activities. I know some places do games. Games belong at an adult party or a kids birthday party....not a wedding. Same with jugglers, magicians, comedians.....leave it all out.Just have all of the above and your guests will be happy.
