| HI IM LAUNCHING A ONLINE BABYSHOWER AND WEDDING FAVOR STORE THAT SPECIALIZE IN HANDMADE FAVORS AND CENTERPIECES. DO I NEED TO PURCHASE EXCESSIVE INVENTORY OR CAN I ORDER PRODUCTS FROM MANUFACTORS AS ORDERS COME IN. CAN I PURCHASE JUST ENOUGHT PRODUCTS TO SHOW WHAT I OFFER? I ALSO PLAN TO SELL THE FAVORS AT DIFFERENT BRIDAL SHOWS AND TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS. |

| Don't take my word for it, but I think you will need to purchase in "large" quantities if you are ordering from agents or manufacturerers (because you might be ordering from Europe or China)Even though you can try to order when orders come in, sometimes the wait for supplies can be longer than expected and you need to figure in your assembly time (if this person wants a finished favor) and what if the client is in a hurry ....like needs it in under two months.As part of your business you should get your supplier relationships in line, figure out what prices you can get from them and what you will need to sell the stuff at, as well as check on pricing from your top competitors, before spending money on web design and other things. This is a competitive business. |
