| Theres the National Geographic line of books you may want to check out. There are many others as well. I'd visit a decent book store to check out what's available as well as a good photography store (not the regular chain stores like ritz/wolf cameras but a decent local pro shop.HTH. |

check out your local used book store. Or try Borders Books - they have a good selection, and if you sign up for their rewards program with your email address, they will send you coupons for 40% off (one book at regular price). If you are not in a hurry to get the library of books, this is a good way to get them "on sale" one at a time. )If that doesn't do it for you, you could always go to half.com and find the books you really want. (Research them at amazon.com - you can get more information from amazon than at half... but half has better prices IMO). |

| Amherst Media (http://www.amherstmedia.com/) has a good selection of "how-to" photo books - most of them between $20 and $30. Like many photos books, they show a photo and then provide details of how it was shot. A big part of landscape photography is understanding composition and lighting and really knowing your camera settings, so any book that provides those details would be a good start as well. |
