When I bought my veil, I only wanted it for the ceremony. It looked so pretty I left it on all day. It fell off after all of the dancing and people hugging me. I think you should take it off for the reception so it won't get damaged or dirty. Good Luck and Congratulations.

Once that sucker goes in it's not coming out! Seriously, I had an updo with the veil (fingertip lenght) under the updo. It looked amazing, but it was not coming out for anything without risking the updo. Wear it until you are ready to get out of the dress. My husband finally removed my veil after we left the reception and drove to my parents house to change before driving an hour to where we were staying. Trust me leave it in for the pictures and when you don't care about your hair pull it out!

Yes you can wear it. You could always add a tiara for the reception too if you don't want to wear it. Or add it to the veil too if it's not too busy for you.

I wore mine throughout the reception and I didn't have any trouble. I had 2 veils actually. I had a fingertip and a cathedral length one. I took off the cathedral length veil for the reception and kept the fingertip one on. I had no problems.

My grandma keeps telling me that I won't take my veil off for the reception. I beg to differ. ha ha I'd say that the only problem you'll have with it is when you get hugged. You may get whiplash of your neck from people accidentally tugging at it when they put their arms around you. Good luck.

Yes, of course. I wore mine all the time - it was a fingertip as well, and I had a small tiara. It's long enough so you can basically brush it past your shoulders when you are eating, for example. Mine was attached to the top almost centre of my head, because my hair was short, so it wasn't the style that just went off the back of a bun, for example.
