| I don't think it looks slutty or cheap, but you would definatly need the right body for it. I think that sam dress, but not see-through at the top would look beautiful. |

| I think it's really pretty except for the see-through bit. If it was covered, it would be a really nice dress but I would never wear anything see-through as a wedding dress. |

| The thing about a wedding dress with boning is that it will help to create the illusion she has a long waist, however, if she's got a little extra weight around the middle it will cause her to look bigger than she is because it's a mermaid skirt. Mermaid skirts tend to make women look VERY big in the stomach and hips. The dress may look cheap because of the style, but if you don't like it, meet her in the middle. Ask her what she likes about that dress and why? The corseted top with the boning? Most women see dresses online they LOVE, when they try them on they actually hate them. Buying a wedding dress is a process, you may have fallen in love with one in a picture but you try on dozens and realize some don't work for your body. Take her to a bridal store and have her try on different styles, when she sees what works for her body you won't have to worry she'll pick out something that looks cheap. I've had so many brides print out pictures from online and bring them to me, they loved the dress but they didn't account for how it would look on their body type. I'd pull it off the rack, they'd put it on and would CRINGE at the sight of themselves because it didn't work for their bodies. Every girl envisions how she'll look in her wedding dress but the vision changes little by little as she realizes all dresses aren't cut for her body type. In the end she's going to find the perfect dress that you both have fallen in love with, and you will have a BEAUTIFUL wedding day. |

| It's a nice dress, and it's not slutty. BUT when you get married, your father is giving you away to your new husband. I don't like to see a bride dressed even a little provocatively. Dont' get me wrong; a corset or basque is great, but I would personally have a dress that didn't show too much else, and I think that while it's a nice dress, I wouldn't choose it for a wedding. |

| I'm thinking about going with that particular sillouette myself, without the see-through part. With a simple, chapel-length veil and a long-sleeved lace jacket it wouldn't be so bad. But since she choose against it, why do you care? Maybe she just wanted you to make some appropriate wolf-whistles and waggle your eyebrows a bit, let her know you'd appreciate the view! |

| I think "J" said it best. It really is just a picture and she has no idea what it looks like on herself. Don't make a big deal of it because once she goes dress shopping something like that would probably NEVER look perfect on her and she'll choose something a little more modest. She doesn't want her grandpa staring at her tits, she wants everyone staring at her beauty. |

| I wouldn;t say it is slutty, but you really have to have a good figure to wear this gown. I personally don't like the tight see through type corset look with a mermaid bottom (which that is) as it is way too tight. Some of these gowns are very expensive. It is the style you don't particularly like. | I agree with you. It looks strange, unfinished, like she is only wearing the underwear/slip and not the dress. The shape of it is nice, but that is about all... |
