some programs have presets for film strip and negatives, and you simply apply on photo, you could find the type of film strip you're looking for and scan in, then use as background template for images,http://www.scrappingreatdeals.com/images/7768.jpgphotoshop tutorialhttp://www.tutorialweb.org/tutorialweb-filmstrip.htmlPhotoscape : with frame options,http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/index.phpfd's Flickr Toys frame onlinehttp://www.bighugelabs.com/flickr/frame.php..

As mentioned, there are software programs with this, I have one myself. I have, however, also created a very, very nice one in photoshop. It will hold 3 photos. Of course you can use it many times and even overlap strips if wanted. The creation procedure is WAY too involved to try to type in here. If you like, you can send me an email through my profile, and I can send you the template so all you have to do is size your photos and drop them into the template. You will need Photoshop to use the template, and know how to resize your photos to fit... (I will supply you with the size specs you will need for your photos).steve

The photoshop plug in from On One Software can put strange frame around a photo. Here is one in a "slide frame"http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2026/2298945951_a65d147fc1_b.jpgand another in a peel-apart polaroid print!http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3096/2298946253_261c1469cb_b.jpg(Photo: Getty Garden @ Getty Center).
