at 7 that might be to much! You dont want her looking like a baby doll. Maybe some clear lip gloss just to make her feel like she is special but nothing over the top. After all the center of attention should be on you not how much make up the flower girl has on.

My little nieces werent actually in the wedding, but they came to the salon and got their hair and nails done. I think their moms let them wear lip gloss. They were thrilled with all that, and I dont think they even considered wanting makeup they were so excited about the hair, nails, jewelry, and lipgloss. My opinion: I dont think makeup like blush or anything on the eyes is cute on kids, its creepy.

Never seen a flower girl wear makeup. It's not a beauty pageant. How does her mother feel about that?My answer would be no make up.

Let her have a little body glitter for eyeshadow and some lip gloss. She will feel so special that way. Makeup on girls on a daily basis is not a good choice, but for a special occasion it's entirely appropriate as long as you don't smother her with foundation or anything. =DEdit: I just wanted to add that I am the mother of a 7-year-old, so my opinion is from that perspective. It's common with her friends that to a birthday party or Christmas party the girls put on that body glitter stuff that's see through except for the glitter. Full-on blue eyeshadow would look inappropriate, but a little sparkle would make her feel special for a special occasion.

Talk to her mother. She may not want her daughter to wear it.When my 4 year old niece was in her 1st wedding, she wore a little make up - mostly powder and glitter. She had it done at the salon, and loved it. Made her feel very grown up, and because it really wasn't anything, my sister didn't mind.Good luck and Congratulation!

I would only put some lip gloss on her if that. 7 is way to young for any more then that no matter what.

I think it's probably up to her parents, but I don't think a little lip gloss and eye shadow would hurt anyone. It would probably make her feel like a princess.

I think its kind of strange. There is no need for a 7 year old to wear make up. If she wants to feel pretty because everyone else is putting on makeup, let her put some lipgloss on and feel like a little princess, but there is no need for her to wear grown-up make up

I think that anything more than nail polish and a touch of lipgloss would be inappropriate for a 7 year old.

I would forget about the makeup for a little girl. Seven is still very young for a girl to wear makeup. You might also want to check with the girl's parents as they may not want her to wear any.If you've never seen her wear anything, even play makeup, your wedding is not the day for it to be her first time wearing it. As you said, she is beautiful without it. Leave well enough alone.Congratulations!

I think eyeshadow would not be appropriate , but lip gloss and a little blush would be fine.
