| Unfortunately you should use dye.... Rit dye that you can buy at any store or professional dye from Joannes Fabric and Crafts.... Michaels also carrys it..... It is cheaper to use Rit... You can usually find Tshirts at thrift stores.. So, buy one for a buck and do some creative cutting ..... If you do dye them yourself, what you do is to mix each color in its container preferably outside.... then twist the article of clothing or fabric and tie it off with string or rubber bands and dip it............ |

| Food coloring will wash out. It may dye for a bit but not very bright. |

| food coloring will work...but you can never wash itmake small bowls of rit cloth dye....use three primary colors so you can mixtake your prewashed white all cotten shirt.....make ties with a rubber band in sereral places..wad it up and tie it off like a pony tail.....different sizes....dip quickly...over newspaper....dip some in two colors..the lighter one first..like yellow..then a short dip in blue..you will have yellow and green...let dry well before you untie.....always cold water wash only............. |

| sure and work good on t shirts or cotton clothes.have several large bowels with colors tie the area in front and back together.dip one area,then one next to it and a third.untie and hang up so colors can run.wear dads tie for a belt.flared jeans,flowers around your neck make a wreath of artificial Flowers for a crown. or wear a big floppy hat.and sandals.No socks.baggy shirts was in.anything with flowers on it was in |

| Yes, it will work for a temp thing. Seeing how Easter is Sunday you can probably pick up some egg dye cheap that would work also! |
