Those rolled up sandwiches from Costco's fresh food case. Cut them into smaller pieces.

All I know is that a wedding is not complete without a pretty little dish of those soft colorful butter mints!

Simple cream puffs, but made miniature, and fill them with ham, egg or chicken salad ..... chocolate covered strawberries ... a small chocolate fountain with fruit to dip into it ...... Hollow out cherry tomatoes and fill with chicken salad ... Marinated shrimp and marinated huge mushrooms (served with toothpicks)

We didn't have a lot of money for the reception, so this is what we had:We got meat and cheese trays from Sams Club and bought their really good rolls and served with mustard, mayo, etc.We also got veggie trays and they came with ranch dressing. We got tubs of potato salad (Reeser's) which was wonderful. We also cooked our own wings. We got two big roasting pans and filled them with chicken wings. (We talked to the butcher and he gave us a deal on wings). We bought the best BBQ sauce we could find and poured that over the wings and cooked them in the roasting pan. It wasn't fancy, but it was really us. People really loved it and we were happy with it. If you wanted to make it fancier, you could get some prettier trays from the party store.Something fancier would also be meatballs, you could get the pre-packaged kind and cook them with whatever sauce you liked (BBQ, terriaki, etc.).I hope this helps! Good luck with your reception, and congratulations!xxooChris

Where and How to Start?
There’s so much to do, it can be mind-numbing. Don’t worry. I planned and held my first wedding in two months and my second wedding in three months. If you have the luxury of a year or more, feel lucky!
Wedding Invitation
Ideally, invitations should be mailed out 6-8 weeks before the big day to give guests time to make arrangements to attend and RSVP back to you.
Wedding Attire
Where I come from, buying a tuxedo is virtually unheard of. Renting is probably the way to go to realize the ultimate savings on the groom’s attire.
Wedding Flowers
Cheap doesn't mean that your wedding flowers can't be beautiful. All flowers are lovely no matter what they cost.
Wedding Ceremony Decoration
Most wedding ceremonies are short and sweet, so why spend a majority...
Wedding Music
Music for your wedding ceremony could consist of live or recorded performances.
Wedding Photography
Pictures are priceless, and you want to be sure you have plenty of good pictures of your special day.
Wedding Favors
Some brides don’t like the idea of giving gifts to her guests, but we think it’s a nice gesture as a thank you...
Wedding Food
Wedding food can take a huge chunk out of your wedding budget.
Wedding Cake
Your wedding cake is the centerpiece of the reception. It is a scrumptious dessert as well as part of a tradition
Wedding Party
The question of whether or not to serve alcohol at your wedding is one that can cause dissension in the ranks of family.
