| I didn't even get a free wedding meal out of it. It was a 'bring a dish' kind of thing and I don't eat food that someone else has prepared. So is it ok to ask for the gift I got her back? |

| No. Gifts are gifts. It is neither acceptable for someone to ask for it back or for the receiver to give it away or regift. It's the thought that counts. Not the second thoughts. |

| You can ask, but I doubt if you will get it back. You may even have to look for a new bff. But my Queen, you just might be the one to get by with it. |

| hmmm......I suggest you just forget that incident and be happy! you can ask your gift back if she did it on PURPOSE but I think she didn't intentionally do it so just ignore it |

| What? ........ A "bring your own dish" potluck at a wedding? OMG ...... I wouldn't eat a bunch of strangers' food either ....... who knows what kind of crackpot psycho friends and family she has at the wedding ....... and yuck, who knows what is in it ........ she broke all of the wedding rules by doing that ....... so YES, you should ask for your gift back ....... if she isn't;t playing by the rules, neither should you ....... I am sure she wouldn't have appreciated that bottle on Johnnie Walker Black you got her anyway ...... = ) |
