| My fiance and I are considering a greek-themed destination wedding on crete or santorini. what kind of ideas do you have for color palettes, decorations, and the service? It will be an outdoor wedding. |

| I would definitely go with shades of blue here. Look at pictures of the Greek sea--that's your inspiration.Congrats and good luck! |

| I think your theme is awesome! There are so many beautiful Grecian style wedding dresses. I would get in touch with your local high school or college drama dept. and see if they have any props that you could borrow or rent. Like pillars or busts. Your pallet should be white with gold trim, and lots of ivy. |

| Be careful with a Grecian style dress. I saw this on Say Yes To The Dress, apparently you need to be built like a Greek goddess to pull it off. Try on a bunch of different styles. I totally agree with the post about taking your cue from the Mediterranean, how absolutely beautiful. |

| That sounds brilliant !!!! I'm imagining white pillars with flowers on the top with draping see thought white chiffon (you know like the rooms they keep the king's women in the old films)Goblets with wine inside and gold plates with fruit mainly grapes etcCarla :)When i think of Grecian style i think of Gold,Purple, Red,White all these where associated with wealth and celebrations in that day and culture |
