| I am a photography student looking to buy a DSLR that will last me. In a camera I need a full frame censor because I hate doing the math and I believe it provides better quality. Also, I do have a budget I'm trying to keep everything under $3500. Camera Body, Lens, Case, Filters, Battery Grip, and Remote. I plan on taking Portraits, Sports shots, Night shots, tons of Fashion Shots, and my "arty" abstracts and conceptual shots.Do you have any suggestions? Or Perhaps a camera that would be better suited for my needs? |

| The closest to your budget is the Canon EOS 5D which is a 12mp full-frame sensor DSLR for approximately $2,000.00 with lens. Careful shopping and watching local sales could yield a lower price. The Canon EOS 1D Mark III body only is approximately $4,500.00. The Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III body only is approximately $8,000.00.The Nikon D3 body only is approximately $5,000.00.Sony is expected to release a full-frame sensor DSLR by late 2008 or early 2009. |
