| I really wanted to try and take some pictures of the solar eclipse tonight, but as I feared I can't get past the fog issue I've been experiencing with my lens. I don't understand what I am or am not doing. I've heard you should keep the lens warm. I've heard you should let the equipment aclimate to the temperatures. I don't know what to do. I am using a tripod, no flash, and a trigger. And the photos come out looking like I shot to fogged glass. Useless. Its too late for tonight, but please help me understand what I am doing wrong for these night shots if you can. I am very frustrated with this right now. |

| As long as its dry out, leave your camera on its tripod outside so that the change in temps doesnt make your camera sweat. Its like letting warm air hit a cold soda, it will make condensation. But cold soda doesnt sweat inside of a cooler. |
