So a person sent a wedding gift to a friend. The package was shipped from the store. The person called her friend a couple weeks later and it turns out that she never got the package. So the person went back to the store and they said that all shipments are handled well, the delivery was made 2 days after the sale, and that normally the delivery firm does not obtain signatures; delivery is made to the address recorded. So the gift giver argued that even though the package was delivered to the right address, it ws not delivered to the named recipient. It turns out that the bride has moved away from that house. The manager of the store said that they fulfilled there obligation and they wont refund the package. The manager just said to check the house and see if the current owner has it. 1. What are the resonsibilites of each party?2. In what ways is the manager right/wrong?3. What actions would you take?

The Manager fulfilled their responsibilities. It is the gift givers responsibility to verify the address prior to sending it.
