Depending on the stress level, a must have is a bar tender lol. Sandals for the reception so my feet aren't killing me, extra hair spray so my hair doesn't fall flat... my fiance says a condom because he wants to consummate the marriage at the first chance we get (lol thats my man yours says alcohol mine says sex lol)..umm just the basics like my dress, our rings, enough candy for the buffet, food in general. I'm with you I don't see why spending a fortune on food that you can get a little cheaper and no one will notice. I saw everyone else saying 'groom, bride, priest'...so I thought you could use a different answer. What we could sacrifice:... real flowers, ceremony decorations (its an outside by the ocean wedding anyway), a photographer (actually we did because we weren't willing to pay 6K when we can just get copies of digital pictures taken), finer linens, champagne for the toast (actually fiance wants to use Sprite because he doesn't much care for champagne), big luxurious cake, the overpriced food, the limo, the videographer, the professional hair style for something simpler.
