I have dreamt of the princess fairytale wedding for so long and now that it's time to plan it-- i don't know where to start? I wanted either yellow/blue or blue/pink for the color scheme-- I don't know which works better. And even naming the tables by fairytale names. Obviously the dress a ballgown shape- the big skirt. I don't know what else i can do for this theme! Help me!Sorry if the word perfect didn't sit well! I want to make is unforgettable as possible! Feliz!

pastel colors are a must, baby blue, pale pink, butter cream yellow, etc. lots of good places online to start looking at wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses, i had my wedding last summer and did mine more of a medieval theme, with lots of jewel tones, ivory, wild flowers and such

if you really want a fairytale wedding I would focus on things other than the theme and the names of the table. if you focus on your guest list, the food, the music and having a good time I think it will be more of a night to remember.

I'm having a princess themed wedding myself. Here are a couple of things I am doing:1. Colors are "Cinderella" blue and silver2. Flowergirls are wearing cinderalla dresses (not cheap Disney ones, but really nice pretty ones)3. Castle cake topper with rhinestones on the cake4. My centerpieces include a pillow with a glass slipper on it and horse and carriages around5. I did save the date magnets with a pillow and slipper and the pumpkin horse and carriage that said "Dreams do come true" Found them on ebay with the return address labels that are Cinderella. Ebay has been my best wedding store ever! 6. My dress is very princess...here is a link to the dress. http://www.morilee.com/DressDetail.aspx?C=1&D=2143&P=17. I will be riding in on a horse and carriage.8. And last me and my fiance are dancing to a song called "So Close" it was on the movie Enchanted. Help I helped!!

Actually, since most of the fairy tales we know and love were written in medieval times, the big hoop-skirted dress would be out of character with a REAL fairy tale wedding. Ah, thank you Walt Disney.OK let's have a little reality check now. It's not going to be perfect. Perfection only exists in Heaven. We don't live in heaven. We live on the imperfect earth. Things will go wrong despite our best efforts.BUT with a methodical approach, careful planning, and mostly a relaxed attitude- and sense of humor, you will have a beautiful wedding - one that will give you happy memories for many many years.DO NOT GET CAUGHT UP IN THE TRAP THAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE THIS OR THAT OR THE OTHER THING OR IT WILL NOT BE "PERFECT!!!!" it's a trap. you will be miserable and your prince charming fiance will throw in the towel and decide to remain a bachelor rather than marry a lunatic bridezilla. That said, read several fairy tales - and not just the Disney-fied ones like Cinderella or Snow White. They're fine - but who wants the 2 ugly stepsisters as bridesmaids - or 7 odd little men as groomsmen? Rumpelstiltskin? An ugly little weird man for the preacher? Nope.No doubt others will give you web sites on how to get started planning your wedding. Just please, please keep your attitude relaxed and your humor at the ready.
