The one of Lori is superb, perhaps a tad dark on her left ear. The daffodil is sharp but dark, too dark.As for the printing on different media, I would be astonished if they came out the same from one media to another. You even get variations using the same media. Try printing one at walmart and one at kits camera and you'll see what I mean. These differences would be less noticable than comparing say a large photographic print and a 4 colour press produced poster of the same size.

ofcourse lori is my favorite...i like what you did with the black background, you are making it work very well indeed....and as far as an image being reproducible in different types of media, that is something one has to experiment with. sometimes i think something will look smashing in b&w or sepia, and it really looks better in color, sometimes i think something would make a great watercolour but it just doesn't work that way... it is part of the process of learning that we all do... alot of the time we just don't know, and that is part of the mystery and part of the fun.

Lori is great!Daffidile doesn't work for me. The lighting is dramatic but it fights the colour and cheerfulness of the flower.Reproducibility in different media? You expressed an interest in shooting stock photography. To make the most money you should shoot images which can be used in newspapers, magazines, on posters and online. Here's an example: last week my local newspaper ran an article on depression. It featured a stock image much like some you have taken. But it was much brighter -- because dark images look terrible on newsprint. The photo editor would have passed over your image for a brighter one and you would have lost a sale. Here's a plan: Go to the newsstand and buy a bunch of newspapers.Go through all the sections and look for stock images -- they'll say Getty or Corbis or something other than the name of the paper.Study what kind of images are used and learn to shoot them. By all means be artistic but be attuned to what pays real money.HTHV

There’s so much to do, it can be mind-numbing. Don’t worry. I planned and held my first wedding in two months and my second wedding in three months. If you have the luxury of a year or more, feel lucky!
Wedding Invitation
Ideally, invitations should be mailed out 6-8 weeks before the big day to give guests time to make arrangements to attend and RSVP back to you.
Wedding Attire
Where I come from, buying a tuxedo is virtually unheard of. Renting is probably the way to go to realize the ultimate savings on the groom’s attire.
