I plan on moving to pigeon forge Gatlinburg area this sumer. I'm just not really sure were yet. I love the area and I want to be close enough to be able to enjoy it but be far enough away to avoid the crazy tourist packed days. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Should I be looking closer to Knoxville or on the outskirts of Gatlinburg and be closer to Asheville. Really just need some help on were to be looking in that area. Also any helpful resources anyone could point out would be really appreciated. What I'll be doing is starting my own photography business. Been in it now for 10 years at my current studio an I'm ready to start my won. I'll be specializing in High School senior photography and modeling portfolios so an area close to high schools or and easy access area would be ideal. Thanks So much...Looking at$150-$200,000. Would also like a little bit of privacy so not really a plat unless it was a plat with some woods. Also would like to be able to build at least a 500-1000 square foot structure too on land. (home studio)

Knowing your price range and roughly what you're looking for would help in answering your question. I'm a Realtor in Knoxville, and prices differ a lot between Sevier and Knox counties. Just off the top of my head, I'm thinking you might be better off in South Knoxville, where you would have easy access to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, but would also be close to town. South Knoxville is also quite affordable and very pretty.Let me know if you need any help or if you have any more questions about the area. Suzyhttp://www.allaroundktown.com
