| I am starting a photography business an I am looking for catchy name.. any suggestions?? It is mainly people portraits, family, kids, maternity, senior pics, weddings, an things of that nature. Currently I am using my name... Shauna's Photography but I am a little unsure about it.. what do you think? I am thinking that I need something more eye catching. I believe having an eye catching title may pull potential costumers in. I have a site on myspace until my other site is finished being built an set up.. like I said I am just starting out, have done a few things an had great results. Check me out if your interested myspace.com/photographgirl2008I did ask this question late last night so decided I could probably get more answers during the day. | I see nothing wrong with Shauna's Photography, but a thought crossed my mind about something like Shauna'sStudio (of Photography), Portraits by Shauna, Shauna's Sittings. That's all I can think of at the moment, but good luck & keep asking. You might try the yellow pages online for a word here or a word there that you could combine with your name since it's so unusual to get something that really pops! |

| 1000 WordsFrozen In TimeCherished MemoriesSlogan--"Preserving the moments that matter."Actually, make sure you have a super solid idea of your "ideal customer." Then name it based on what appeals to them. Take several names and bounce them off of people in your target market. Also just talk about photography with them and listen to the terms and emotions they use. That will give you some good material for brainstorming a name. Also, get the book E-Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber. There is some great info in there. |

| I was told when I started my photography business to use my last name in the business name. It keeps it unique wheras you won't see many people with the same business name. Then you get credit for all the good will you create in your business. But if someone has a catchy business name, there may be other ones with the same name and you could have problems if your business gets confused with theirs. |

Where and How to Start?
There’s so much to do, it can be mind-numbing. Don’t worry. I planned and held my first wedding in two months and my second wedding in three months. If you have the luxury of a year or more, feel lucky!
Wedding Invitation
Ideally, invitations should be mailed out 6-8 weeks before the big day to give guests time to make arrangements to attend and RSVP back to you.
Wedding Attire
Where I come from, buying a tuxedo is virtually unheard of. Renting is probably the way to go to realize the ultimate savings on the groom’s attire.
Wedding Flowers
Cheap doesn't mean that your wedding flowers can't be beautiful. All flowers are lovely no matter what they cost.
Wedding Ceremony Decoration
Most wedding ceremonies are short and sweet, so why spend a majority...
Wedding Music
Music for your wedding ceremony could consist of live or recorded performances.
Wedding Photography
Pictures are priceless, and you want to be sure you have plenty of good pictures of your special day.
Wedding Favors
Some brides don’t like the idea of giving gifts to her guests, but we think it’s a nice gesture as a thank you...
