| First of all please do not post rude comments or things like "This is how you choose a tattoo??"or"A tattoo should be well thought about blah blah"This is something that meant a lot to him and the tattoo will mean alot to me until the day I die, I have thought it through over and over and it is what I want. I appreciate those of you who give me real input into my question. Thanks. My father died on the 28th of march, 2008. His whole life revolved around his cameras and photography, I decided to get a tattoo of one of his cameras (I already know which one I will be using for the tattoo) but I cant seem to figure out where to put it. Any suggestions? |

| I love tattoos on the small of your back or on the back of the neck. Or even on the ankle. Somewhere sweet and not too noticeable but not like hidden.this is a really sweet idea!xxx |

| Onega gave a great answer, and their right sweetie, you chose what you thought was appropriate, now let your body tell you where to put it. It's a beautiful sentiment and Onega told you 100%. nailed it. |

| Some place on your chest close to your heart maybe. Or on your wrist so you can see it whenever you use your hands. It depends on how big it is. Any tattoo that means that much should be thought over like you are doing. Best wishes to you and your family through this rough time! Hope i helped! : ) |

I think that is cool to honor your dad like that. So sorry for your loss I would put somewhere somewhat discreet, but where it can be seen if you want it to. My hubby has a peace sign to the left of his hip bone..I love it, but only he and I ever see it. He wanted it that way, it's his body..and his decision.I, on the other hand, have 1 on my inner ankle (left leg) and 1 on my lower back...if I am around my Grandma..I wear socks in the summertime. I have had the one on my ankle for like 17 or 18 yrs...and the one on my lower back like 7 or 8 yrs..my Grandma doesn't know about either one..it's just out of respect for her, ya know. Anyway..good luck, and again..so sorry about your loss of your dad. |

| How about on your shoulder blade area? Or in the center of your back? A camera tattoo will take a lot of detail, and you'll need a pretty big and flat surface to make it look good. I like the camera idea, I also have seen someone with a film strip going down their leg. Not something you see everyday! Good luck, hope everything goes well! |

I'm getting a tattoo on my lower stomach but I'm not sure if that's where you would want a tattoo like that. Maybe on your chest close to your heart |
